George Saltis

Founder

​George Saltis commenced a promising career in the communications, banking and finance sectors. His final role was as the Global Manager Smartcard Strategy at the National Australia Bank Group. George gained experience in the areas of development and implementation of global strategies, global research, product implementations and product management involving leading edge technologies and traditional products. George also worked in start up areas both in Australia and globally. Internationally, George’s roles have taken him to the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Italy, China and Australia.

After identifying the Ophelia opportunity, George decided to leave a successful career in Global Marketing with the National Bank Group to pursue his own venture.

George has been the driving force behind the launch of the Ophelia and Lori Bijoux brands in Australia and New Zealand. He conceptualised the idea, developed and implemented the strategies.
